Him: So you're really thinking of spending a semester in the USA?
Me: Yep.
Him: How come?
Me: Because I have friends in the US and it'd be a really good experience.
Him: I don't think you should go.
Me: Why?
Him: Because their gun laws are non-existant which means you're definitely going to get shot, they don't like cool people and liberal thinkers which means they'll persecute you, and everything is really expensive which means you'll starve.
Me: You're an idiot XD
Him: I'm aware of this, but you still shouldn't go.
Me: Oh come on, seriously? Whyy?
Him: Because then you're not here with me.
Me: I'm fairly sure that by semester two, 2010, you'll be able to write an essay without my help XD you'll be fine.
Him: This isn't about the essays.
Me: Then what is this about?
Him: This is about the way I feel when you're around, and how I don't want to not feel that feeling for six months while you're on the other side of the world where I can't see your smile.
Me: ..Oh Sam <3
Note to self: Stay the hell off MSN .____.
Why can't I be friends with a guy without it getting complicated?
But as the above may suggest - I'm contemplating spending a semester next year at one of the US colleges my university is in partnership with. Thinking of something in New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania because I've got a lot of friends there. (I wanted to be cool and try for an ivy league school but none of them are on offer XD sadness)
So far I'm looking at The College of New Jersey. Any good?
OH YEAH, AND I GOT A NEW CAR.
It's really cute. And not French :]
Ugh 2000 more words and I am free. FREE.

Boys are stupid.
FACT:
MSN can be terrible.
I've just had to teach one of my friends a bit of a lesson because he thought that I was angry at him because I signed off MSN without saying goodnight haha. Of all things!
I hope you get into the college you want... I'm hoping to do something like this myself, when I get to Uni. Sooo yeah :]
Too bad it signs you in automatically and gosh, it's hard to sign out.
Hahaha... anyway! Transfer sounds FUNNN. I want to do that myself, actually, probably to Europe not America though. Though California is tempting... anywhoo! I think you should-should-should go. I don't know if NJ's any good but anything foreign probably is.
And 2000 words left?! Chyeahh~ four exams to go for me.

I hope I get in toooo. It'll be tough, and expensive, but whatever.
I changed the setting.
I was contemplating France but I don't think my French skills are up to par; and French is the only other language I vaguely even know so the rest of Europe is out of the question XD I thought maybe England, but it rains there SO MUCH and England really is one of those countries you can just spend a week or so backpacking through on your way to somewhere else, ya know? Six months there might get a bit monotonous.
Besides, I have SO many friends that are all going back to the US this July (I live in an appartment building that offer six month leases to international exchange students because we're so close to Melbourne's two major universities XD) and I'll miss them, and this way I'll get to see most of them all again :]
1500 words left, I type slow :'D so overrr this shit.
Most of my friends all still have exams to go too XD
SUCKERSSS.
However he's still an angel so I'll grudgingly forgive him for his err in judgement, keh heh heh.
Ehh you'll get in fine. You're smart, and you and I both have the opportunities to still get financial aid from parents
Yeah~ I know what you mean about England. It has the monotony going on - never been to France, but like they all say - it's the capital... of EVERYTHING. Fashion there should be the rage. o__O;; Italy is beautiful... my friend went on exchange there... the islands AHHHH. I saw her photos - JEALOUSSS.
Whoa international students!!! That sounds awesome... love meeting new people. Yayy lots of friends.
I'm typing up essays too now. Next two exams - literature and chemistry. SAME DAY TOO. Kind of overwhelmed with the thought - but I'm determined! G'luck with the last 1500!

Well yeah, me doing a Fashion degree, and Paris. Would kindaaa make sense. But no. Adequate language skills required. They make you take a test and everything. Lame.
Penn/NJ/NY doesn't seem so bad though - If I stay at TCNJ it's realllyyy pretty in the autumn, because it's on acres and acres of trees. And then it's only one hour to New York City, another fashion capital of the world! And then I can go over to Pennsylvania to see my friends :] SO YEY.
All my American/Canadian exchange friends had the option of Sydney or Melbourne, and they say Melbourne is the far more popular choice because Melbourne has a better reputation as a nicer city. I agree with them. ..But I am biased |D Besides - Melbourne University. One of the best universities in the world. I couldn't get in there if I tried. (But they didn't have a fashion degree so I didn't want to anyways lulz.)
Good luck with those essays and exams, I know you'll kick butt 8D I, on the other hand, finished my last essay last night. I AM DONE. HOLIDAYS. NO STUDYING. WHOO HOO.
Guesss who's getting drunk tonight! XD
