Sigh. Two essays down, two more to go.
This time next week I will have completed my first semester of university 8D
That makes me feel good.
You know, I think that there are some people that take the internet,
Way too seriously.
This isn't directed to anyone of my friends on here :]
It's just kinda a vague observation.
Online relationships shouldn't replace real-life relationships.
Your life doesn't depend on what happens in a roleplay.
The internet should not consume you.
I don't know, maybe that's just me. Or something.
But anyway. Going to Port Douglas June 19th - 24th.

I need me a nice little holiday somewhere sunny.
Um. I'm poor but I bought a lot of clothes today.
Came back home to see the family and got word that there was a super-secret massive sale going on from 5pm at a warehouse near my dad's business. Nothing over $20. Rocked up there, people EVERYWHERE, mostly only tiny sizes that are used to dress mannequins were left. ...Perfect |D Skinny me scored some great bargains. Two jumpers, a trench coat, a jacket, a new pair of skinny jeans and two new dresses. Paid $100. Added up all the original prices on the tags and it came to almost $900. I win at life.
Um. Peugeot is officially written off.
Now in the process of looking for a new car :]

I can't handle ordering spare parts from France anymorrre. *facepalm*
Dad's promised me that I will have a car by the time mid-year holidays finishes mid-July. Yey <3
Did you know that when John Howard passed the Marriage Act in 2004 defining that marriage is SPECIFICALLY between a man and a woman, he passed it through parliament as 'urgent legislation'?
A bill is only ever labeled as 'urgent legislation' when it is regarding war, or another kind of major national crisis.
Do you know what had him choose to label that bill as 'urgent'?
A gay Australian couple who went to Canada and got married were about to fly back to Australia with their marriage certificate, take it to High Court (The US equivalent of the Supreme Court I think) and demand that Australia recognize their marriage.
People thought that booting Johnny out of top spot and bringing Rudd in would change things. And yet after nearly two years in the job, Rudd has yet to amend this legislation.
This makes me angry.
Clearly I've been hanging out with Politics students too much.
But yes. A very dull journal entry.
But monotony is a nice change to trauma.

And congrats on completing your first semester of uni soon! I've been busy with the frenzy of the last two weeks of my own first semester -- my June holidays just started! 8D Hopefully I'll be able to reply to RPs regularly amidst all the cramming.
